Every Wednesday we meet to explore New York City specialty coffee, this week at the brand new Loveless Coffees outpost at the front of Shinola, a retail store in TriBeCa. At the moment, this boutique cafe is in soft-opening mode, and Loveless co-founder Will Douglas will be behind bar for our meetup.
Loveless, a growing force in New York City coffee, began life 10ish years ago under the name Spectrum and opened their first brick and mortar, a Bushwick roastery, in April 2022, rebranding as Loveless a little while after.
Their new Shinola outpost is serving their full menu of single origin coffees on espresso and pourover (no batch brew), perfect for our group.
