Coffee Klatsch Collaboration w/ Typica US at Kape Katorce / KC 14 Coffee, Fort Greene

Wednesday, January 24 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Coffee Klatsch – meet for coffee and conversation. We are cafe culture and coffee enthusiasts who meet each week to explore the New York City cafe scene. Klatsch is free except for whatever you purchase. Any and all are welcome.

This will be our second educational collaboration with Typica US. At the first one, we learned about Tanzanian coffees. This time around, Rachel Keen and Jonathan Withers will discuss how climate change is already affecting coffee farming, focusing specifically on Bolivian smallholders. This will be followed by a tasting of coffees from those producers.

This event will happen at Brooklyn’s newly-opened Kape Catorce / KC 14 Coffee, run by Jewel and Jessica Martin-Ballard, who roast their own coffee and prioritize women producers.

Please RSVP below.
